How a Wrongful Death Attorney Can Advise You on Complicated Cases
Last May, the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors approved a payout amounting to $450,000 for a wrongful death complaint. A two-year-old boy was killed back in 2011 by his mother’s boyfriend despite multiple calls made to social workers reporting ongoing abuse. The Los Angeles Times reported that the complaint was against a social worker from the Department of Children and Family Services assigned to the investigation of the case. According to the complaint by the child’s father, the worker has allegedly falsified the report, stating that the child was healthy and safe, despite being covered in bruises.
