Construction Deaths and Injuries: The Role of Lawyers in Helping Accident Claimants



The federal agency, Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), has 2,200 inspectors whose main aim is to promote and protect the health and safety of 130 million workers all over the U.S. In 2015, they conducted 35,820 federal inspections and 43,471 state plan inspections. After these examinations, OSHA created a list of four fatal accidents in the construction industry and the top ten most breached standards.

These statistics indicate that some construction firms have been negligent and contributed to occupational injuries or deaths, thus, underlining the importance of hiring lawyers in Los Angeles who are experienced in dealing with construction accidents, in order for claimants to receive just compensation.

Injury Statistics and the Fatal Four in the Construction Industry

According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, private industry employers reported around 204,7000 non-fatal construction injuries and illnesses in 2015.
